5)"Closed My Eyes"

Closed my eyes
Praying.
Asking for
An answer.
Covered with
A blanket.
Something to keep warm.

Fell into the
Darkness.
Where I ran,
Climbed,
And fell.
Feeling
All
Possible emotions.
All appeared so real.

Suddenly
Awakened.
Not knowing what
Or how.
The sun stinging my eyes
Waking me entirely.

Though now I have
Escaped.
Tonight I know
I'll be
Once more trapped
In the
Darkness.
Where I ran, climbed
And fell.

Running in the rain.
She is lost in a game.
Thunder is her anger.
Raindrops are her tears.

Running in the rain.
She is searching for relief-
Wind is her sorrow.
Lightening is her pain.

Running in the rain,
She can no longer be seen.
Stars are her escort.
Clouds are her wings.
